Alice in Wonderland Wedding cake
On the 17th September 2011 I married my soul mate and also served this delicious White Chocolate Mudcake iced in fondant, black fondant and royal icing piping for detail. The roses are fake as is the top hat and the tier it sits on. (bottom two tiers white chocolate mud). Definitely one of my most proudest moments for Sugar On Top yet!

baby shower cake for customer + cupcake toppers
Above was taken at customers home on customers stand
This delicious Chocolate Cake was really fun to make! I'm really happy with how much better I have gotten in covering a cake with fondant (practise makes perfect!) and the piping (although sore hand) turned out exactly how the customer wanted it! The baby items made from fondant at $1.00 each were a bargain - Looking back I wish I had decorated them with Royal Icing instead of fondant but the customer was happy and that's what matters!
Fathers Day Golf cupcakes!
Vanilla and Strawberry Gluten Free
The father of my beautiful child (and child to come) is a golf addict he doesn't get to play much any more due to a change of career and well being a father! So I decided to make him some golf cupcakes in appreciation of his hard work and dedication. It just so happened that my own father and my brother both enjoy a round (I think that's what its referred to) of golf so they made great gifts on the day!
The most adorable edible babies!
I LOVE my sugar babies! These cute little things are so versatile as you can see! They can be decorated to your theme or skin tone preference!
Quite often you'll hear "too cute too eat" which is perfect as they can be stored/kept for years! (Since this photograph I have since perfected a more smooth looking skin, photo to follow with baby shower cake)
Sugar On Top now Blogging!
Welcome to my very first blog!
Cake decorating has become a passion of mine - I can do it from home which is really important to me being a mum to Logan who is nearly 9 months old and 22 weeks pregnant with our next son! I am still learning by either attending courses through the fantastic Cake Decorating Central at Castle Hill or practice practice practice! I am very happy with what I've achieved so far, in fact this weekend I had my first booking (stay tuned for photos of Natalie's Baby Shower). I am quite fond of cupcakes they are so fun and easy to decorate! Cookies are to come!
My side projects are things like Canvas art/pegboards - I personalise and decorate Canvas's to what you require for your room, decor or theme. I'm also going to try Santa sacks as its a family tradition of mine to have one and yet all the ones the shop stocks are not to my liking!
So please drop by as often as you like, you can also find me on facebook! Don't forget to ask me for a quote for your next cake or art need - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with my competitive prices for such tasty and great looking cakes! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sugar-On-Top/159874354072859
